Privacy Policy
Talkin’ Season is operated by Schematek LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what the Talkin’ Season iOS app and talkinseason.com collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Information We Collect
There are no accounts. We do not collect your name, address, or phone number, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The app shows a small banner ad served by Google AdMob — see the Advertising section below for exactly what that involves. Beyond that, the app contains no analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
The only information we receive is what you type into a form yourself:
- Email address — only if you enter one to join the mailing list on talkinseason.com, or if you choose to include one when sending feedback from the app. It is used to reply to you and to send you the updates you signed up for, and nothing else.
- Feedback you send us — if you use the Contact form in the app, we receive your message, the category you picked, and which team you were viewing. This is stored so we can read and act on it.
Your favorite team, preferences, and saved settings are stored on your device, not on our servers. Game reminders are scheduled locally on your device — we do not receive a push token and cannot send you anything you did not ask for.
How We Use It

- To send you season previews and product updates, if you signed up for them
- To fix bugs you report
We do not sell your personal information, and we never use your email or feedback for advertising.
Advertising
The app displays a single banner ad on the home screen, served by Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only: ads are chosen based on general context (like the app you’re in and your approximate region), not on a profile of you. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.
To serve and measure these ads, Google’s advertising SDK collects certain data from your device:
- Device identifiers — such as the device’s advertising identifier
- IP address — used to estimate your general (coarse) location
- Ad interaction data — such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped
- Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data used to keep the SDK working
This data is collected and handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. It is not linked to your identity by us, and it is not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We also cap ad content at a family-appropriate rating.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of providers to operate the app: an AI provider to generate team analysis, college football data providers for schedules, rosters, and betting lines, an email delivery service to send us your feedback, Google AdMob for the banner ad described above, and standard hosting. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. We do not share your email or feedback with anyone beyond what is needed to deliver it to us.
Children
Talkin’ Season is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Ads in the app are non-personalized for everyone and capped at a family-appropriate content rating. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Choices
- Ask us to delete your email or feedback — just email us and we will remove it
- Leave the email field blank when sending feedback — it is optional
- Delete the app to remove all locally stored data

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
